 About the project

The topsail is now in its messy furled state.  This is what happens when you release the sheet and pull in on the brail lines without having someone carefully folding (or flaking) the sail as the brail lines are tightened.  This will be done if we are sailing and the wind picks up and we need to reduce sail.  The same situation exists with the square sails.  Back on the trailer the sails will be spread and then neatly furled.
